The Yard Milkshake Bar is an ice cream in Berkeley, California. It is listed at 2433 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704, which places it among the local businesses of Berkeley that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Berkeley is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Berkeley is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard... And honestly, yeah, I can see why from the start. This place has a ton of variety to choose, Different sizes, flavors, and full-on sugar moves. Go for the large with the toppings stacked high, That thing is big enough to split, no lie. Itβs less of a dessert and more of an event, The kind you order once and then feel financially spent. Theyβve even got cookie dough scoops on the side, For people who want to skip the shake ride. Just straight-up dough in its own little section, Which is either dangerous or a great invention. The flavors rotate, so it stays pretty fresh, Seasonal options slide in with the rest. So even if youβve gone once, thereβs still a reason To circle back around for the next weird season. You can order at the screen if you want to move quick, Or talk to someone up front and do the human pick. Service was nice, which helps when the menuβs a beast, Because narrowing it down is not exactly a peaceful feast. Bathrooms are down a shared hallway away, Not a huge deal, just useful to say. And the mason jar mug is yours to keep, Which somehow makes the sugar rush feel cheap. So yes, the shakes are wild, over the top, and h

I ordered the Mint Madness Specialty Milkshake for $20, and I honestly donβt think it was worth it at all. The toppings were not nearly as generous as I expected: just whipped cream, one brownie piece, a scoop of cookie dough, one piece of Oreo, and some chocolate chips at the bottom of the shake. They didnβt even blend the chocolate chips into the milkshake β they just poured them straight in from the package, so they wouldnβt come up through the straw. You can also tell the ingredients are pretty average. The chocolate lacked that rich cocoa-butter aroma, and the whipped cream wasnβt good either. I also ordered the Triple Chocolate milkshake, which was $10. The chocolate flavor was not rich at all, and it didnβt even have a nice milky taste. Compared with Shake Shack, itβs nowhere close. On top of that, the prices are really expensive. Other than looking good visually, it has no real strengths. I wouldnβt recommend it, and I definitely wonβt be coming back.

This was my first time here and I love milkshakes. The selection is huge where you would need to make a few visits to try a few different shakes. I ordered the pecan praline shake and it was thick enough where you will eventually need a spoon to finish. The staff is friendly and helpful with selections and I can't wait to return.

The Yard TLDR: Overall: Fun, extremely sweet (although pricy) over-the-top milkshakes My Order: Brookie Batter Specialty Milkshake Price Breakdown: $23.90 (including tax, etc for a pricier one of the milkshake options) Portions: Enough to share one milkshake between two people Halal/Vegetarian Friendly: Not applicable, though dairy-wise there might be vegan options but I'm not 100% sure, do check on that! Would get again: I am very tempted to try the strawberry cheesecake or the oreo one, but probably would get the bowl instead of the milkshake next time. So this was one insane milkshake. After seeing pictures online of these over-the-top fantasy-esque milkshakes and realized there was a new location in Berkeley, I was very intrigued and finally made my way down. We got the specialty milkshake (mostly bc it comes with the souvenir glass that they let you clean and take home after) and I promise you this is enough for two people for sure. There were a lot of moving parts in our Brookie Batter Specialy Millshake, cookie dough icecream, a brownie, a cookie, lots of chocolate chips, a definitely very pretty dessert. This was a very sweet dessert (almost needed to wash down with water

Very great place to go with friends and share a sundae or milkshake! Great selection of ice creams, fun shakes, and even edible cookie dough! They even offer cashew milk ice cream for those who need vegan options.
